At the present estate of art there is a wide range and variety of multimeter's available in the market, ranging from the traditional voltmeter to Sophisticated electronic meters and digital instruments. The voltmeter however still retains its popularity and will continue to do so for many more years to come, because of its low cost, operating case, portability and unambitious indications. Selecting a multimeter requires a knowledge of what each instrument can do and what it cannot do. Its ultimate usefulness you depends upon how well you understand your Instrument If you misuse a meter, you will get inaccurate readings and you may also damage the meter.
El arte de medir con precisión las magnitudes eléctricas ha aumentado de forma constante. En el estado actual de la ciencia hay una amplia gama y variedad de multímetro disponible en el mercado, que van desde el voltímetro tradicional sofisticados contadores electrónicos y los instrumentos digitales.
